SCHOOLS ENROLLMENT: EFFECTIVE HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGEMENT AS KEY DETERMINANT

The unique nature of the COVID-19 crisis poses a new set of challenges for Africa Schools as they claw their ways to recovery. Most private schools lack the financial power needed to effectively manage transition to the new world. The broad themes, by now, are familiar and generally the same globally for all businesses:

  1. Protecting the health and safety of stakeholders: students, teachers / employees, and customers / parents.
  2. Adapting new learning and teaching techniques that will allow social distancing and development of critical 21st century soft skills.
  3. Addressing the skill gaps needed to support effective e-learning, flipped classroom systems, needed leadership, and management skills.

REIMAGINING THE AFRICAN SCHOOL IN THE NEW NORMAL

Here is the new strategic focus for the African Schools. There is a unique opportunity to increase enrollment through the combination of virtual schools and brick & mortar schools.
