Lagos, Nigeria – May 2025 – Africa Brands Review is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking initiative to honor and document the remarkable impact of alumni associations from Nigeria's pre-1960 schools, including leading Federal Government and State Model Colleges.

Join us on September 25, 2025, at the Lagos Airport Hotel Limited, Ikeja, Lagos State, as we publish, unveil, and celebrate the unique achievements of these performing associations. Participation in this landmark program is absolutely free.

Our Objectives

  1. Compile a Historical Legacy: We aim to create a comprehensive historical record of these unique contributions, providing invaluable references and lessons for future generations.
  2. Foster Peer-to-Peer Learning: By showcasing effective practices, we'll facilitate peer-to-peer learning to guide and inspire enhanced school improvement and development strategies across Africa.
  3. Recognize Exceptional Leadership: Outstanding alumni association presidents and secretaries will be inducted as Life Members of the Africa Principals Conference Initiative (APCI). This is in addition to the induction of outstanding educators and principals as Fellows, and Vice-Principals as Associate Fellows, within the APCI Fellowship program.
  4. Challenge for Restoration: This project is designed to challenge all stakeholders to envision the restoration of the lost glory of these institutions as great centers of effective and safe learning environments in Nigeria. For more details, visit www.africatopschools.com/apci-fellows.

How to Participate

The APCI team will be conducting close-up monitoring and compiling unique contributions from alumni executives over the past five years by visiting pre-1960 schools.
