ORIWU SENIOR MODEL COLLEGE, IKORODU

Oriwu College was established in May 1949.
On the 6th of June, 2000, a plaque was unveiled by His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former Governor of Lagos State, commissioning new facilities and renaming Oriwu College as Oriwu Model College, Ikorodu.

The excellence attained by the school is as a result of the inputs of Lagos State Government, Education District II as well as the support received from the Old Students Association and our esteemed parents
The school has consistently become a pace setter in all its involvements both in academics and otherwise. This is evident in the honors roll received both at the District, State and National levels.
Our focus is to provide innovativeness, engaged experiences that prepare students for successful careers, active citizenship, and lifelong learning. Our students receive ample encouragement and counsel to forge ahead in their careers, both presently and in the nearest future.
We have learning centres with computer/interactive and internet facilities that encourage personal learning, also give exposure to Computer-Based Training and other cutting-edge educational opportunities.
