OSHODI SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (OSHS)

Oshodi Senior High School, a Lagos State Public Co-Educational Institution was founded in 1981. It is situated at Bolade, off Oyetayo road, via Oshodi/Isolo Local Government, Lagos State. The school boasts of a serene environment which is conducive for teaching / learning activities. The philosophy of the school is to provide all-round education as well as raising up solid generation of future leaders who will make meaningfully contribution nationally and internationally. Our school excelled in the 2018 WASSCE result with 96%. This is why we were awarded the 1st Best School Senior Category in Education District VI.
Our students are exposed to leadership skills and high moral standard which enabled them to become excellent youths without blemish.
Our school has accomplished laudable achievements, not only in academics but in sports, socially and morally. Many of our alumni members passed out through reputable universities nationally and internationally. We are proud to announce that they are thriving successfully in their different fields of life.
Our success story was made possible as a result of the noble inputs of Lagos State Government; public, private partnership with NGOs, philanthropist gestures of our old students and our amiable parents, well trained members of staff and interactive/innovative teaching/learning strategies and cordial relationship among all the stakeholders. God factor in everything we do is our strongest propelling force. We daily commit our learners, teachers and community into God’s hand and we inculcate godly values into the students not only by preaching but by modeling.

RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE SCHOOL
· 1st Position (Senior Category) Oshodi/Isolo zone of the 2020 academic quiz competition on commercial subjects in Education District VI.
· 1st Best School (Senior Category) in Education District VI in 2019
· Mr Jamiu Shoderu, a Non-Teaching Staff was 1st Best Non-Teaching Staff (Senior Category) in Education District VI in 2019.
· 2nd Best Teacher in Education District VI (Mrs Onwuma Bosede) in 2018
· 1st and 2nd positions in essay competition organized by 9mobile in 2018.
· 2nd position (Male Football Team) in TG/PS Education District VI Football Competition 2019
· 2019 best SS1 and SS2 students award by BEC Impact Resources (awarded to Adeoye Michael and Itodo Victory)
· The school won 10 spikes boots as consolation prize for participating in 2019 Channels Tv School Athletic Competition.
· 1st position in cycling competition 2019 organized by Nigeria School Sports Federation. Temiloluwa Ogunmolati won a gold medal
· The school participated in the 2019 Science and Technology camp for Senior Secondary Schools
· Two of our students are currently participating in the Inter Districts Maltina Schools Competition 2020.
