Our central theme, "Managing Schools for Value: The Economics of Talents and Education Policy," addresses the critical need for transformative change in African education. We advocate for a decisive shift towards merit-based leadership in schools, moving away from political influence and prioritizing the ability to demonstrably improve educational outcomes. Data-driven decision-making is paramount for effective policymaking and resource allocation, ensuring that initiatives translate into tangible benefits within diverse African contexts.
The Africa Brands Review (ABR)'s dedication to actionable research at the intersection of talent economics and education policy inspired the creation of APCI. Our NGO spearheads impactful training programs for key educational stakeholders and champions vital initiatives such as the annual National Week of Action Against Bullying and Violence in Schools and our ongoing research into student well-being.
